King Of Oud is offered in the Siero soap base.

Originating from Southeast and South Asia, oud is rare and widely sought after in traditional perfumes. Natural oud is said to cost more than its weight in gold. Wholly Kaw used a blend of essential oils and resins to create an alluring interpretation of natural oud. King Of Oud combines the freshness of bergamot with notes of rose and pink pepper sitting on a bed of oud, patchouli and vetiver for a fragrance that is both fresh and richly aromatic.

Siero, which means 'whey' in Italian, is made using whey protein from donkey milk and water buffalo milk. It also contains beef tallow, water buffalo tallow, water buffalo milk, donkey milk, flax seed and hops extract. Flax seed is known for its omega-3 and omega-6 content which have long been recognised as essentials for healthy looking skin and hop extract is added for its anti-inflammatory and anti-angiogenic properties.

Top Notes: Bergamot, Lemon, Clary Sage, Rose, Aldehydes and Pink Pepper.
Mid Notes: Angelica, Rosewood and Galbanum.
Base Notes: Agarwood or Oud, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Patchouli and Amber.

Worth its craft!

I've tried many shaving creams and this one is certainly among the top ones.

The oud aroma is intense and the lather rich. And it leaves the skin refreshed and smooth.

I wouldn't say the lather is the richest ever but it certainly gives the sense of a luxurious feeling; you can sense the oudness and richness of it all.

A Shaver's Delight

I've tried my fair share of artisanal soaps. However, none have quite captivated me like the "Wholly Kaw King of Oud Shaving Soap". Let me break down why this soap has become a staple in my routine, earning its place in what I can only describe as the "God tier" of shaving products.

The Scent:

At first encounter, the scent was admittedly not what I expected. It was bold, perhaps even slightly off-putting initially. However, I soon found myself reaching for it throughout the day, letting the aroma grow on me. The strength of the scent is above medium from the puck, less so from the lather and it doesn't linger long after shaving.

Performance:

A little goes a long way with this soap. It's easy to build a luxurious lather, though it does require a bit more water than usual. Once lathered, it transforms into a slick and protective layer, gliding effortlessly across my skin.

Post Shave:

Here's where "Wholly Kaw" truly sets itself apart. After rinsing, my face feels rejuvenated, soft, and incredibly hydrated. It's not an exaggeration to say that sometimes I find myself shaving just to experience that unparalleled feeling of refreshed skin.

Final Thoughts:

In all honesty, I'm considering making Wholly Kaw my sole shaving companion. The unique scent, combined with its exceptional performance and divine post-shave feel, puts this soap on a pedestal above the rest. For me, it's not just a shaving soap; it's a moment of luxury in an everyday routine.

You won’t be disappointed

I actually contacted Fin to swap this out to a difference scent as I already had this one and I don’t know how ordered this by mistake. Fin changed this very easily and added on the splash also. My review is based on my already owning King of oud.

King of Oud is a fanatic scent that I totally love. Our is one of my favourite scents so I can’t get enough of that his soap. It’s also a wonder to work with, you can lather this soap very very easy and it feels amazing on the skin. The soap allows the razor to just glide over the face with ease and offers superb cushion. Even after you wash off the soap you have the super slickness across the face left by the soap even before putting on balm and splash.

I highly rate this soap range and also this vent and the he Cedrati which is what I swapped this for. I not have 5 of the Wholly Kaw range and it’s just absolutely wonderful. If you don’t have an WK shave soap or splash, get one! You won’t be disappointed
