Rex 1944 Shaving Soap (4oz)

Sale price£21.95

Step into the soul of a generation. A tribute to courage forged overseas and character shaped at home. Inspired by the enduring style and atmosphere of Casablanca, Rex 1944 Shaving Soap evokes the same sense of quiet strength and unforgettable presence — like a line spoken once, but remembered forever. With the bold warmth of bay rum and the timeworn strength of aged leather, this cologne evokes the scent of a soldier’s duffel bag, a letter sealed with hope, and a country unified by purpose. It’s the smell of freshly shined boots hitting pavement. Of ration cards in jacket pockets and jazz playing on crackling radios. Rugged, confident, and quietly heroic — 1944 doesn’t follow trends. It defines legacy. Wear it like a medal.

Scent Notes: West Indian Bay Leaf, Bitter Orange Zest, Clove Bud, Worn Leather, Cinnamon Bark, Allspice, Nutmeg, Geranium, Dark Rum Accord, Cedarwood, Vanilla Bean, Oakmoss.

Old time shaving soap

I love this. Have purchased 1977 and 1955 and now 1944. Great quality of shave and I’ve now forever converted to using my shaving brush.

The scent is great and evokes an old time era that my grandfather might have appreciated. Dropped one star as it’s not so solid as the other versions I’ve bought, almost a cream but still lathers up with the shave brush.

1966 will be my next one. If you love clean honest additive free old fashioned shaving this is definitely for you.

Lovely soap

A little softer than the 1988 version, but creates a wonderful lather once I was used to it, thanks again Finn!
