Gentleman's Nod Kensei Aftershave Splash (100ml)
Introducing Kensei, the second edition of the 'Origins' series from Gentleman's Nod. Following on from their best-selling fragrance, Musashi, Kensei is equally delightful and packed with more unique scent notes inspired by Japan and East Asia.
Kensei opens with a citrus blast of blood orange, yuzu and yellow mandarin which is light, juicy, tangy and undeniably uplifting. A sweet and crisp nashi pear note adds to this energising and delectable opening which gently transforms with the rich complexity of lapsang souchong tea, the uniqueness of which cannot be overstated. Lapsang souchong is smoke dried over pine, adding a hint of wood smoke and resin to the depth of black tea. A floral combo of neroli and violet keep the fragrance light and fresh extending the lift from the citrus open. Ultimately, an exotic mix of black pepper and saffron create a warm, creamy, spiced effect that leads into a comforting woody finish.
