The Bogue Profumo Sample Set contains samples of all five Bogue Profumo fragrances. Samples are 2ml in size and are presented in small glass vials with plastic applicator stick lids. Please be aware that these samples are decanted in-house and do not come in Bogue branded packaging. Therefore, this sample set is for fragrance testing purposes only and is not particularly suited to be given as a gift. Received my sample set in quick time and dispatch communication was good.
I tried the LITA 1st and was hit with basically smoke like I had just rubbed a smouldering log over my neck (not a good 1st impression) it has a slight whiff of something sweet, but overall it dries down heavy and I couldn't really smell the other notes.
Maai is so far the better scent of the bunch, light unconventional, old school, vintage with a light vetiver esc whiff coupled with a good dry down.#
Mem is similar in it's unconventional vintage weirdly combustible whiff of every scent all at once, which like the others does dry down nicely to a warmer tone.
OE is aromatic, sweet and ok
10 EDT is sweet and nice with a slightly woody dry down
Overall if I were to buy the full sized bottle in any of these scents it would probably be Maai and OE.

Wonderful but…

Maai, Mem and OE; begin with a bang and end with another. The opening of Maai is a chimera, switching from a bitter citrus to the old school echoes of civet. Mem begins with a plasticised Lavender, veers off to real floral lavender and finishing with something that feels more like honeysuckle. OE’s opening is reminiscent of Hermes Orange Vert intense amped up to the max but ends (for me), with a cardamom blanket.

I love the opening of OE, the mid of Maai and the dry down of Mem. But not the journey of one from beginning to end.

Wonderful to have the full Bogue sample set and sample the others in the collection (Maii is an all time favourite already!) Enjoying getting to know the other scents in the range.
