Grooming Dept Hydrating Gel is a uniquely versatile product. Before the shave, it may be combined with the pre-shave to extend and enhance the softening, moisturising effect. During the shave, add a drop or two to your brush after soap or cream, then lather as usual. After the shave, combine with the rejuvenating serum or an alcohol-based aftershave to fight drying.
The secret is a combination of humectant ingredients which attract and hold water. These ingredients are “skin-identical,” identical to compounds naturally found in the skin. Grooming Dept Hydrating Gel contains an abundance of these skin-identical, humectant ingredients, the most important of which are Sodium PCA and Hyaluronic Acid. Thus, Grooming Dept Hydrating Gel works specifically on the most important factor for maintaining and restoring skin health damaged during the process of shaving: retaining natural moisture.
